We have done a lot of work on structuring and created on this page a general list of brands of cable and wire products, dividing them into groups. This is very convenient if you want to select the specific brand of cable you need, as well as get more detailed technical information about it. We recommend using page search, for example, via CTRL+F in the browser.
To obtain information about the technical characteristics of the cable brand you need, simply follow the link to the appropriate page.

General description.
Cables for voltage 10 kV in design, technical characteristics and operational properties comply with the international standard IEC 60502-2 and the harmonized document HD 620 S1. In the vast majority of cases, these are single- and three-core conductors.
Applications are found mainly in networks with a nominal frequency of 50 Hz, with a grounded and insulated neutral.
10 kV cable with flexible insulation is used primarily for laying networks of mobile substations, large equipment, as well as other temporary or mobile power sources. It is very easy to use, unpretentious to operating conditions and can be used in a wide temperature range, as well as at high humidity. These samples are very easy to install, but it is recommended to hire professionals to work with them. This will guarantee correct installation of the samples and further correct operation of the equipment. For 10 kV cable, the price in our company will be, if not the best, then one of the best on the market due to optimal conditions for interaction with partners both in the field of production and in the field of logistics processing of cable products.

Types of copper wires
Among the electrical cables, the following types are distinguished:
- PUGNP (PBPPg). The cores consist of very thin wires. The last letter of the abbreviation “g” means flexible cable;
- PUNP (PBPP). Single-core cable with protective PVC insulating layers. It can consist of 1-4 wires with a small cross-section. More often, such wires are used for supplying housing to lighting fixtures;
- PPV. Single-core copper cable with single-layer insulation, designed for hidden wiring or laying through a corrugated hose or cable duct;
- APPV. A cable similar to the product described above only has an internal aluminum core;
- PVS. A common electrical cable with PVC protective insulation. Consists of twisted wires with a sector cross-section. Often laid for power supply to housing;
- SHVVP. An electrical cable consisting of conductors of both copper and aluminum, connected by terminal blocks. Mixed wires are used in household electrical appliances.

Security zones for power lines
Security zones are established for all power grid facilities:
Security zones along overhead power lines (hereinafter referred to as OHL).
- The upper limit is the height of the overhead line supports.
- Lateral boundaries are measured from the outermost wires. Depends on the overhead line voltage and wire type. Self-supporting insulated wire (SIP) has a higher safety class due to its insulating coating.

750-1150 | 750-1150 |
1150 | 1150 |
Security zones along underground cable power lines.
- The lower limit is equal to the depth of laying cable power lines.
- Lateral borders - on both sides of the outer cables at a distance of 1 m.
- The security zone of cable lines with voltage up to 1 kV under city sidewalks towards buildings is 0.6 m.
Security zones of submarine cable power lines
- The lower boundary is the bottom.
- Lateral boundaries - on both sides of the line from the outermost cables at a distance of 100 m.
Security zones when overhead power lines cross water bodies
- The upper limit is the height of the overhead line supports.
- Lateral borders - on both sides of the outer wires at a distance of:
- for navigable reservoirs - 100 m. - for non-navigable reservoirs - at the distance provided for the establishment of security zones along overhead power lines (see clause 1).
Safety rules in security zones of power lines are regulated by the Rules for the establishment of security zones of electric grid facilities and special conditions for the use of land plots located within the boundaries of such zones (approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of February 24, 2009 N 160)
In security zones of power lines it is prohibited:
- throw foreign objects onto the wires and supports of overhead power lines;
- climb the supports of overhead power lines;
- fly any aircraft, including kites and sports model aircraft;
- light a fire within the security zones of input and distribution devices, substations, overhead power lines, as well as in the security zones of cable power lines near the security zones. Wind direction and fire spread are unpredictable;
- perform work with impact mechanisms, drop heavy objects weighing over 5 tons in security zones of power facilities;
- discharge and drain caustic and corrosive substances and fuels and lubricants in security zones of power lines.
- storing and storing materials, including fuels and lubricants: - in the security zone of power lines over 1 kV is prohibited; - in the security zone of power lines up to 1 kV - only with the written permission of Rosseti Center. The application must be submitted no later than 2 weeks before the start of work;
- Place children's and sports grounds, stadiums, markets, retail outlets, field camps, livestock pens, garages and parking lots (except for parking garages for individuals), hold public events:

Decoding
Basically cables are classified as follows:
- A - aluminum wire. If this letter is missing, the wire is made of copper;
- B - inner layer of PVC insulation;
- BB - external insulation of copper wires made of PVC, a thicker layer;
- R - rubber insulation. NR - made of fire-resistant rubber;
- P - polyethylene external insulation;
- AC, AA - aluminum conductors with lead sheath;
- B, Bn - protection of the wire with an armored layer that is resistant to fire;
- G - this cable can be used for wiring in mountainous conditions. Also, this letter can mean bare wire or with insulation;
- d - increased sealing;
- O - electrical wires must be provided with separate protective insulation;
- ng - fire-resistant cable;
- Shp, Shv, Shps - the outer shell is a hose made of fire-resistant material (PVC, polyethylene, etc.);
- E - the product is used in very dangerous areas, for example, in mines. The letter also means shielded wire.
- K - control electrical wire. More often the symbol is located in front of the marking;
- F - fluoroplastic insulation;
- Ш - cord.
As an example, we can cite the following wire markings: VBBShv, AVBbShv, KGNV, KGVSh, VVGng, KVVGng, AKVVG, SIP, etc.

Manufacturing of 10 kV cable
In our offers for 10 kV cable the price is
fully justifies the quality of the presented samples. After all, all of them must undergo the strictest certification. It consists of several stages. The first is checking products directly in production on the quality control line. The second is official product certification, which applies to all batches produced by the enterprise. Only on the basis of it can documents of compliance be issued or a refusal issued. The third is a control check of the received batch already at our warehouse center. It involves inspecting samples for damage and verifying documents. Thanks to these verification stages, when you contact us, you can be completely sure that the supply will contain only high-quality samples that meet the technical requirements of your electrical network, because the slightest discrepancy in this matter can lead to failure of all devices.
